Bohecker College has a legacy of more than eighty years of excellence and commitment to professional training and education. This college maintains three campuses in Ohio, where the student can participate in programs for practical or registered nursing.

The practical nursing curriculum is designed to provide students the training needed to enter into the field of practical nursing. The graduate of this program will meet the client's universal, developmental and health deviation needs through the use of critical thinking, current standards of practice, and organizational skills. The courses focus on individualized basic nursing care based on developmental, biological, physiological, socio-cultural, religious and spiritual variants. Upon completion, the Practical Nursing program offers students opportunities to file an application with the Ohio Board of Nursing to sit for the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX-PN).

The Registered Nursing program is a professional adult education program where the graduate receives an Associate of Applied Science Degree in nursing and will be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX) to become a registered nurse (RN) in Ohio. Registered Nurses have a responsibility to be knowledgeable about theories, principles and applications of biological and social sciences. The registered nursing curriculum prepares individuals to assume the responsibility for providing healthcare to clients with acute and chronic illnesses as material learned in the classroom is practiced in the laboratory and applied to the care of patients in the clinical setting.

Bohecker College maintains campuses in Cincinnati, Ravenna, and Columbus, Ohio. Bohecker College - Columbus and Cincinnati are branch campuses of Medix School in Towson, Maryland. Bohecker College - Ravenna is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees and diplomas. Practical nursing is available at all three campuses. The registered nursing program is available only at the Columbus and Cincinnati campuses.
