Clarita Career College provides a vocational nursing program that has been designed to prepare students with nursing skills for direct patient care. You'll receive training in patient care, nursing skills, medical-surgical, specialty nursing - family nursing/obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, home health, hospice and rehabilitation. The program provides the student with nursing fundamentals.
The vocational nursing program emphasizes theory, as well as hands-on practice. Graduates of this program will be qualified for the entry-level position as a vocational nurse, and function as part of the interdisciplinary health care team in selected health care settings with individuals, families, and communities across the life span. Graduate also should successfully pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical/Vocational Nurses (NCLEX-PN Examination). Employment in this field requires a license.
Faculty members at Clarita are selected for their education, credentials, work experience, and also for their dedication, enthusiasm, and ability to motivate students to their highest level of academic achievement. The curriculum for each program has been designed to provide career skills and to qualify students for immediate employment opportunities after successful completion of their program. The School Director, Program Directors, Faculty, and Placement Coordinator work closely together to develop a partnership between graduates and future employers. Career planning and job placement assistance is available to all graduates.

This training allows them to develop the experiences and confidence required to further enhance their understanding and application of industry techniques.

Clarita Career College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology, approved by the United States Department of Education, and licensed by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.
