You can begin your nursing career at Maric with a nurse assistant training program, where you'll gain the knowledge, technical skills, and training you need to seek entry-level employment in such settings as long-term care; assisted living; and sub-acute, rehab, and acute care facilities. This program's curriculum combines classroom learning with hands-on lab experience to prepare you to take the required examinations for becoming a certified nursing assistant.
You can also achieve a vocational nursing certificate or diploma at Maric, where you'll train to work as an integral part of a medical team in doctors' offices, clinics, and hospitals. Through your comprehensive education at Maric College, you can gain experience performing nursing duties that provide both theoretical and clinical skills and knowledge. The hands-on clinical lab experience, can prepare you to deliver direct care to patients under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
Maric College also provides a comprehensive nursing program through their AS in nursing degree. This experience can prepare you to provide direct patient care in numerous settings.
