Michigan is a northern state that is surrounded by large lakes and bordered by Canada to the north. Industrialism is Michigan's largest source of revenue, particularly automobile manufacturing. A culturally diverse state, Michigan was originally home to many Native American tribes and is still influenced by the Native Americans that remain.
There are many large hospitals and medical clinics in Michigan that wish to hire new and experienced nurses. Henry Ford Medical Center and Detroit Medical Center are two of the biggest employers in the state for medical professionals, as is Bronson Healthcare Group in Kalamazoo. Other cities, such as Dearborn and Saginaw, are in dire need of more nurses. Both rural and urban locations should hold many opportunities for nursing professionals in Michigan.
