At Grand Canyon University, you can complete an RN to BSN degree program or an MSN degree program with a focus on either nursing education or in nursing leadership in health care systems. Grand Canyon University strives to make your online experience as seamless as possible through the use of Angel technology. This methodology provides a consistent format for every class, and provides information about your syllabus, staff, discussions boards, and offers a digital “drop box� where you turn in your assignments. Interaction is asynchronous, so you can gain access to messages, professors' notes, and assignments on your own time and at your convenience.
Although coursework is available at any time, students are expected to log into their workstations several times per week to study, to discuss topics with other students and instructors, and to work on assignments. Exams may be taken electronically through the Angel system. However, many instructors use alternative methods of assessment, such as portfolios, research papers, and projects, to assess a student's grades. This type of learning requires a discipline that will serve any student well in the health care professions.
